Patient guide

What to know before you lie down.

Contraindications, preparation and aftercare. The full list lives here. Each treatment page shows only its own questions.

Before a visit

Yes. The first visit starts with a short look at the area and a check of contraindications. Treatment follows only if it is appropriate.

Comfortable clothing. Pressotherapy is done in a suit over your clothes. For MMS and BTF Wave we need access to the marked area.

The first one is longer, because we talk and look. A single area after that is usually under an hour, including getting settled.

One session tells us how your body responds. Tone, contour and lighter legs show up over a short course. We say how many before you book the next.

Magnetic muscle stimulation

It is intense, not sharp. Intensity is set so you can stay through the contractions. You can ask to lower it at any point.

Pregnancy, a pacemaker or other implanted electronics, metal in the treatment area, and epilepsy are reasons we will not proceed. Tell us about recent surgery.

30 minutes. Applicators sit on the chosen area and the muscle makes thousands of deep contractions.

Usually 4 to 10, a few days apart. After that, maintenance sessions if you want to keep the result.

Yes. There is no recovery time. Sessions can be done all year.

Lymphatic drainage

No. A suit inflates chamber by chamber, from the feet upward. There is no manual massage and no oils.

Active infection, fever, deep vein thrombosis, uncontrolled heart failure and pregnancy are contraindications. Acute skin inflammation in the area as well.

Drink about 2.5 litres of water that day, keep activity moderate, and eat something light.

Sometimes mild redness or dizziness. A nosebleed is very rare.

Not on the first two days.

BTF Wave

No. It is for a local contour when weight is already stable. It does not replace food, walking or medical care.

Pregnancy, metal implants in the area, pacemakers, active cancer, and impaired sensation or skin disease over the area. We recheck this on the day.

Saddlebags, outer thighs, the lower abdomen, the fold under the buttocks, and around the knees.

The day before, drink about 1.5 to 2 litres of water. No alcohol for 24 to 48 hours, no hard exercise just before, and clean, dry skin with no lotion.

No alcohol and no sauna, jacuzzi or very hot bath for about 48 hours. Leave other intense work on the same area for 2 to 3 days.

Aftercare

Drink water. Walk. Skip sauna, intense training and alcohol until the next morning. A written note goes with you.

Sometimes, on different days. We do not stack heat and strong muscle work on the same area in one visit unless it was planned that way.

Legs can feel lighter the same day. Muscle tone and a local contour take a few sessions. We look again before calling it done.

Still something you want to ask?

Write it in your own words. If it should not be done, you will hear that too.
